I’ve painted a wide variety of paintings to commission over the years and each one has been a unique collaboration between myself and the particular client.
I’ve put this section together for anyone who would like information on commissioning a painting or drawing.

How do I work and what can be done?
Over the last 15 years I’ve painted a wide range of work to commission, mainly using oils and covering many different subjects. I am interested in painting coastal, landscape, interior and urban scenes. I mostly work from direct observation, painting over a single or multiple sittings. On occasions I have worked from good quality photos, or a combination of direct observation and photos either be taken by my self or provided by the client.

Pricing
My prices depend on the size and complexity of the painting. I generally use oil paints on either board or canvas .
Paintings are provided unframed. On occassions it might be possible to supply simple frame at an additional cost.
Here’s a rough guide to prices for some popular sizes. I can pretty much paint in any shape or size and in past I’ve painted several commissions to fit particular spaces and worked up to 2.7 meters square in size.
30cm x 40cm £650
40cm x 50cm £750
45cm x 60cm £875
60cm x 90cm £950
If you have a particular idea in mind please either call, text or message or e-mail to discuss further. Once we’ve agreed on what can be done I usually start with a few sketches and then once we’ve agreed on a size, price and timescale I will start work, sending regular photo updates of progress to ensure that you are happy with the way the painting is going. When you are happy I will then ask for payment in full and we can then arrange how the painting will get to you.
