I like the idea of painting sea side scenes in the snow as they  are typically not seen and represented this way. In the past I’ve painted beach huts and the palm trees  in the snow and if my car battery hadn’t gone flat I might have travelled a little bit further afield this time.  I count myself fortunate  I had plenty I wanted to paint within walking distance of home. This scene was from the bottom of my road.
