An original painting by Paul Alcock created using Oils on Gesso primed Board.

Painted during a painting trip to the midlands.  My early years were spent in the Midlands and we could see Mow Cop from where we lived on the edge of the Staffordshire moor land.  I’d know Mow Cop was a folly but  I’d never actually visited it though until then and so was curious to see it close up.
